SurveyXiaomi TV FX Mini LED series: What has been revealed so far
As mentioned already, Xiaomi has highlighted two key technologies that will power the upcoming FX Mini LED Series:
- Mini LED backlighting
- Quantum MagiQ picture processing engine
Mini LED technology uses thousands of significantly smaller LEDs behind the display panel as the backlight source. This full array of Mini LEDs allows the TV to have as many precise local dimming zones as a scene demands. So, compared to traditional LED TVs, this should improve black levels during dark scenes, shadow and highlight details, contrast and brightness control.

As for the new Quantum MagiQ engine, it is expected to enhance things like contrast, colour, motion, etc and that too on a scene-by-scene basis. Xiaomi says thanks to reduced input latency, games should feel more responsive.

The visuals are said to be complemented by a quad speaker setup. This setup includes full-range drivers and two tweeters.
And thanks to Fire TV OS, you’ll get 12,000+ apps and an Alexa voice assistant.
We should get more details on the launch date, i.e., June 4. Stay tuned.
