Acer is gearing up to launch a new ‘Ultra’ brand of 4K TV series in India, as revealed by the teaser on Amazon India. The microsite reveals key details of the TV lineup, which includes two models: Acer Ultra V series (QLED), as mentioned in the title and also the Ultra I series, which has a regular UHD panel. We learn about the TV screen sizes and features like Google TV, 40W audio, and more. Based on the teased details, these appear to be high-end models and could mean stronger competition in the mid-to-high-end smart TV segment.

Acer Ultra V series of QLED TVs will be available in 32-inch, 40-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch sizes. Meanwhile, the Ultra I UHD TVs will be out in 32-inch, 40-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch models.

The teaser page emphasises the QLED lineup, and from it, we gather that the panel can present 1.07 billion colours and supports Dolby Vision. Acer claims ‘vivid sharpness’, ‘striking contrast’ and ‘lifelike precision’. Although the exact nits value is not disclosed, Acer says the TV supports Ultra Brightness with HDR.
Besides these, the TV also features MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation), which could provide smoother visuals without judder. There is also Auto Low Latency Mode, which can reduce input lag by reducing extra image processing.
On the audio side, the TV sports a 40W speaker setup with Dolby Audio enhancement, which could offer a more dynamic sound experience, including 3D surround sound. Acer claims ‘sparkling clarity, dynamic mids and deep bass’ from those speakers.
Many of these features are driven by the underlying Cortex-A75 and Cortex-A55 dual processors. And the software on top will be Google TV based on Android 14 TV OS.
Acer’s current TV portfolio in India (via Indkal) includes series like “Super”, “G”, “XL”, etc., some with QLED versions. The pairing of QLED + Google TV + AI-based audiovisual features signals Acer wants to offer a more integrated smart experience. In time, we will know how Acer positions this TV.
There is no confirmed launch date or pricing breakdown yet.
