Vodafone Idea has added a new pack to its AllRounder Value pack. This pack which is priced at Rs 29 brings with it the validity of 14 days and high-speed data of 100MB for the duration of the validity. The details of the pack read, "Rs 20 Secondary Talktime (Call + SMS Only) + 2.5p / Sec Call + 100 MB Data 14 Days." Thus from the details, it can be deduced that with this recharge, a user gets Rs 20 talk time for voice calls and SMS and 100MB data. The pack has a call rate of Rs. 2.5 paise per second for all local and national calls. This AllRounder pack is valid for Delhi only as of now but it is expected to be available in other circles as well. The Allrounder packs start at Rs 29 and go up to Rs 95.
If a data limit is no concern, then there are also talktime top-ups available from Vodafone starting at Rs 10 going up to Rs 1000 which offers talktime only and don't have a validity or data offering. You can read more about them here .
In other Vodafone news, Vodafone Idea has started an initiative to facilitate contactless recharging at retail outlets. This initiative should allow the customer as well as the retailer to maintain social distancing norms. The company says that it will be made possible through the Vodafone Idea Smart Connect retailer app which allows retailers to recharge without the need for them to hand over their phone to the customer. Instead, the customer or retailer can speak out the 10-digit mobile number and the Google Voice-enabled feature should be able to capture the command.
