BSNL has started the new year with a fresh offer for mobile users across India. The state-run telecom company has announced a special New Year plan that focuses on data and entertainment at a low price. The plan was shared through the company’s official X account and is meant for users who want more value from their recharge. This offer will be available only for a limited period, till January 31, 2026. With rising data needs and growing interest in online shows and live TV, BSNL is trying to attract both new and existing users. The plan combines high-speed data, voice calling, and access to popular entertainment platforms in one simple pack for everyday use across urban India.

New Year plan details
The New Year data plan comes for Rs 251 and includes 100GB of high-speed data for 30 days. BSNL claims this pack can convert any ordinary recharge into a full puff of entertainment. Users will also get unlimited voice calls during the validity period. A key highlight of this plan is that it lets the users access more than 400 live TV channels, including premium options. Along with live TV, the plan offers access to 23 entertainment apps where users can watch movies, shows, and sports. Popular names include JioHotstar and SonyLIV in this list, making the plan attractive for heavy content viewers. It suits families and young users alike.

Changes in other BSNL plans
Simultaneously, BSNL has also expanded the data limit in other BiTV packs. Now, the Rs 225 pack comes along with 3GB of daily data, which is quite helpful for day-to-day browsing and listening to online videos. The Rs 347 pack comes along with 2.5 GB of daily data, along with the same benefit of daily data in the Rs 485 package. For longer-term users, the Rs 2,399 package will offer 2.5 GB of daily data, along with more validity on the package. There are calling facilities along with daily SMS services available in each of the packs, irrespective of the location of the users in cities, towns, and villages.
