Aircel has launched three new prepaid plans priced at Rs 93, Rs 175 and Rs 349. All of the recharge plans offer bundled voice and data benefits but are only available for Aircel users in Kolkata.
Aircel has announced a slew of new prepaid plans for their subscribers in Kolkata. The recharge plans start at Rs 93 and offer bundled voice and data offers. The Rs 93 prepaid recharge offers local and STD calls at 20 paise per minute along with 250MB of 3G. It also offers 50 SMSs and comes with one-year validity.
Aircel has also introduced Rs 175 and Rs 349 recharge plans. Under both the recharge plans, users will get 1GB of 3G/4G data along with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMSs. The Rs 175 recharge is valid for 30 days whereas the Rs 349 plan comes with an extended validity of 84 days. Both the aforementioned recharge plans are only valid in the Kolkata circle.
The new Aircel recharges aim to rival Jio’s refreshed Rs 149 and Rs 399 recharge options. Jio recently announced a triple cashback offer for its Prime consumers where they will get 100 percent assured cashback on recharging their Jio SIM with Rs 399 or above and users will also get triple cashback of up to Rs 2,599. The offer is only valid if the recharge is performed from November 10 to November 25.
Countering Jio’s offers, Vodafone has also announced a new Rs 349 recharge plan exclusively for its prepaid customers. The recharge offers 1.5GB of 4G/3G data daily along with unlimited local and STD calling capped at 250 minutes every day or 1000 minutes per week. The plan has a validity of 28 days. Idea also announced a new Rs 357 prepaid plan which offers 1GB of data per day along with unlimited local and STD calling. It is valid for 28 days and can only be availed by prepaid consumers.
