The Xiaomi Poco F1 is expected to be a pocket-friendly flagship smartphone. Poco is a sub-brand of Xiaomi and the Poco F1 is the first phone to be launched by the company.
Poco, a new smartphone brand under Xiaomi’s wing, will be launching its first device today. Called the Poco F1, the phone has been confirmed to feature Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 845 SoC and to enhance performance, the device will also feature liquid cooling. Thanks to multiple teasers, we know that the Poco F1 will be a Flipkart exclusive device. Flipkart even has a new landing page for the phone which teases some of its unique features. It is expected that the Poco F1 will be a pocket-friendly flagship smartphone which will undercut competition in a big way. As of now, the Asus ZenFone 5z is the cheapest flagship with Snapdragon 845 that you can buy.

Xiaomi Poco F1 Specs
Xiaomi and Poco have themselves been teasing the Poco F1 smartphone and some of its flagship-grade specs on social media. Performance is key to the device and its Snapdragon 845 processor will be coupled with liquid cooling technology to dissipate heat during taxing tasks such as prolonged gaming. Xiaomi and Poco have also teased the presence of Gorilla Glass on the device’s notched display, so we are expecting the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 6 to feature on the phone. The company has also teased a limited edition of the device and that all variants of it will come with 3D face unlock, which is supposed to work in low-light conditions.
Besides Xiaomi’s teasers, The Poco F1 was leaked in an unboxing and benchmarks of the device showed up on Geekbench as well.
In terms of benchmarks, the Poco F1 was spotted on Geekbench with 6GB and 8GB RAM. The scores of the device on Geekbench were in line with other Snapdragon 845 powered devices like the Asus Zenfone 5z, OnePlus 6 and others.
The benchmark listing also tips that the device runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, however, an earlier leaked video of the device suggests that it comes with MIUI on top.

Nothing is known about the price of the Poco F1, but early rumours about the phone suggested that it will be a pocket-friendly flagship. We will have to wait for the launch to know the final variants of the Poco F1 and their prices.
