Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship phone has been leaked numerous times in various forms of renders, specifications, and a video. Leaked press renders have also suggested that the device will be available in multiple colours like black, gold, pink, and white. It has been tipped to come with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 SoC. It is also expected to feature a 16MP camera at the back, with a 13MP front camera. Rumours suggest that there will be two variants of the device, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, while the other may have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The leaked video of the Xiaomi Mi 5 also seems to confirm a leak where the Xiaomi Mi5 was shown to have the world’s smallest fingerprint sensor and a 2.5D curved glass display on the front. The phone is also said to have 3D glass on the back. The fingerprint sensor on the Mi5 is slim and oval shaped and both the press renders and video show the same.

Last week, new images purported to be of the black variant of the Mi5 also appeared online. The images were initially posted on Weibo, but have since been removed.
