Apple is reportedly preparing for its biggest iPhone launch in years. The company will launch its iPhone 17 series, possibly in September, with major upgrades and a completely new lineup. If the reports are to be believed, Apple will discontinue the iPhone 17 Plus and introduce the iPhone 17 Air. The top variant, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max, will be released as the Apple iPhone 17 Ultra. This means the iPhone 17 Pro will be the only Pro variant available to fans. iPhone 17 Pro design
According to long-standing rumours, the iPhone 17 Pro will feature a new design. The rear panel will receive a dedicated camera bump, featuring a similar triple camera placement and improved sensors.The company may also position the flash and LiDAR sensor on the far right. Additionally, fans may no longer be able to see the titanium frame, which could be for added durability and light weight. The report suggest that Apple will offer aluminum frame paired with glass back.
iPhone 17 Pro display
According to reports, the iPhone 17 Pro may feature the same 6.3-inch OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. However, we may see a brighter and brighter panel than the iPhone 16 Pro. The dynamic island and bezels will reportedly be reduced in the iPhone 17 Pro.
iPhone 17 Pro performance
The Apple iPhone 17 Pro could include Apple silicon’s yet-to-be-released A19 Pro chipset and an increased 12GB RAM compared to the iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro chip and 8GB RAM. With this, Apple hopes to make iPhones more optimised for future Apple Intelligence features. It may also receive a Wi-Fi 7 chip for improved connectivity and a vapour cooling chamber for heat management.

Apple is expected to make substantial modifications to the iPhone 17 Pro’s camera setup. According to the report, the iPhone 17 Pro may feature a 48MP triple camera and a 24MP front-facing camera, as opposed to the iPhone 16 Pro’s dual 48MP and 12MP telephoto lenses. This year, Apple may finally introduce 8K recording capabilities.
iPhone 17 Pro battery
The iPhone 17 Pro is said to have a better battery than its predecessor, which had a 3,582 mAh battery. Take note that the exact details are unknown, and all of this information is based on leaks.
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to be priced at Rs 1,19,900, the same as the iPhone 16 Pro’s launch price in India.
