Vivo is all set to unveil its flagship X300 series in India on 2 December, and well ahead of the launch event, details about one of the upcoming compact phones from the company have begun surfacing. The Vivo X300 FE, expected to be the Indian sibling of the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, has leaked online, revealing its design and camera layout. A new leak suggests that the model will feature a horizontal triple-camera setup on the back, unlike the vertically aligned cameras on the X200 FE. The phone is expected to don the new ‘Inspiration Purple’ colour with a 6.31-inch display and a bunch of other premium features. For fans of compact smartphones, there’s already something to note.
SurveyVivo X300 FE: Expected price and availability
Given how the previous model, the X200 FE, came in at a price of Rs 54,999, one can safely assume the Vivo X300 FE will come in slightly higher at around Rs 60,000. Competition might come in with phones like the upcoming OnePlus 15s and the rumoured Oppo Reno 15 Mini, making the X300 FE a very viable option for those in search of a compact flagship. As mentioned above, the phone is expected to launch on 2 December, alongside the X300 and X300 Pro.

Vivo X300 FE: Expected specs and features
The most significant change coming in the X300 FE is the camera setup. On the back, it is expected to house a horizontal layout carrying three cameras: a main ultra-sensitive bionic camera, a Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens, and an LED flash. A 50-megapixel camera is expected on the front with anti-distortion soft light. Vivo could also add an advanced zoom flash for night portraits, making the phone suitable for photography enthusiasts.
The Vivo X300 FE is said to feature a 6.31-inch screen, just like the one on the X200 FE. Under the hood, it could be powered by the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone is also said to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging. Wireless charging could also see an upgrade to 40W from the earlier 30W. Other features are said to include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint 2.0 sensor and up to IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

The leaked images also reveal that the Vivo X300 FE could come with a fresh design different from its predecessor. As per the leaks, the back panel has a horizontal camera strip housing three sensors with an LED flash. The colour, which is light purple, has been dubbed ‘Inspiration Purple’, and it gives the smartphone a soft and premium touch. It is said to feature an aerospace-grade aluminium frame paired with a satin finish for a smooth and durable feel, unlike the compact and playful look of the previous X200 FE.
