For quite some time, there have been numerous rumours and leaks about the upcoming Vivo X100 series. This series is expected to include three models: Vivo X100, Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 Pro Plus. Now, a reliable tipster has revealed details about the camera of the vanilla X100.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Vivo X100 smartphone is expected to house a triple rear camera setup, reports Gizmochina.

There might be a Sony IMX920 sensor with a large aperture of f/1.57, accompanied by an ultrawide sensor and a periscope tele-macro lens with an f/2.57 aperture and a 3x optical zoom.

The phone’s camera setup will likely offer different zoom levels, ranging from 15mm to 70mm, allowing users to capture various types of pictures, from landscapes to close-ups.

While the X100 Pro model is said to feature the new Vario-Apo-Sonnar lenses, the vanilla X100 might stick with the Vario-Tessar lenses, DCS claimed.

The tipster also noted that the “Sony IMX920” is an internal reference name, and Sony is currently highlighting its Lytia brand name. So, the final name for the IMX920 might be in the “LYT8xx series” for marketing purposes.

The X100 smartphone is expected to feature a 6.78-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the device will be equipped with a Dimensity 9300 processor with up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The smartphone model is expected to come packed with a 5,100mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging. Also, recently, the standard Vivo X100 model was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking website. The X100 achieved an overall score of 22,49,858 points.
