The listing of the Vivo V9 reveals that it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 and 4GB RAM. In terms of design, it sports a bezel-less design and with an iPhone X-like notch.

The Vivo V9 smartphone has been listed on the company’s Indian website ahead of its offical unveiling on March 23. The listing gives away the design and entire specifications of the mobile phone. The notch is now confirmed and houses  the earpiece and the front facing camera. The device sports a thin-bezel design and comes with vertically stacked dual-rear cameras. As per the listing, it will be launched in Pearl Black and Gold colour variants. Funnily enough, it is priced at 1 crores as per the listing, which is most likely just a placeholder. Howver, since then Vivo has taken down the page and replaced with with another test page.

The images on the website tips at metal unibody design with a rear placed fingerprint scanner. In terms of specifications, the smartphone will be powered by the octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It features a 6.3-inch full HD+ IPS display with a 2280 x 1080p resolution. It will be powered by a 3260mAh battery and launch running on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. 

On the rear, the Vivo V9 is equipped with a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 24MP front facing camera with AI and AR-based features like gender detection, AI face beauty, and AR Stickers. Both cameras have an f/2.0 aperture lens. The device sports triple slots, two for nano SIMs and one for a dedicated microSD card. It also features a ‘Game Mode’ option, which could work by clearing background apps for delivering a smoother gaming experience. 

Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi with support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, GPS, USB 2.0 with OTG support, and FM Radio. It also features all standard sensors like ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, compass, and gyroscope. The handset measures 154.8x75x7.9mm and weighs 150 grams.
