Vivo S5 is expected to get certified by TENAA soon.

Vivo recently confirmed that it will introduce a new smartphone in its S-series. The device is said to be Vivo S5. It will launch in China on November 14. Since Vivo S1 came to India, Vivo S5 is also expected to launch in India sometime after the China announcement. Today, press renders of the device have leaked. The Vivo S5 is shown in three colours, Blue, Green and Pink with a gradient finish. Further, the images show a diamond-shaped triple camera arrangement along with an LED flash.

The diamond-shaped triple camera arrangement in the leaked renders could include a 48MP primary sensor. The smartphone is said to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and an AMOLED screen, similar to the earlier S series phones, S1 and S1 Pro. Not much information is available about the Vivo S5 at the moment. While one render shows no-notch display, the other image shows a punch-hole screen.

Vivo S5 is expected to get certified by TENAA soon. It is rumoured to launch at less than 2000 Yuan, which roughly converts to Rs 20,000. To recall, Vivo S1 was launched at a starting price of Rs 16,990.

In reference, Vivo S1 features a 6.38-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC. The smartphone comes equipped with 4GB RAM and  128GB of onboard storage. It sports a triple rear camera setup and has a 32MP selfie shooter. Vivo S1 also packs a 4500mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging technology. The phone runs Android 9.0-based FunTouch OS 9.0.
