Samsung slaps $1.6 million lawsuit on its brand ambassador for using an Apple iPhone X in public
The Russian brand ambassador for Samsung, Ksenia Sobchak is reportedly being sued by the company for using an iPhone X during a television interview.
Looks like it's the iPhone X over the Galaxy Note 9 for Samsung's Russian brand ambassador Ksenia Sobchak. The Russian politician, TV anchor, journalist, socialite and actress who represents Samsung as brand ambassador was reportedly seen using an iPhone X during a television interview contrary to the terms of her agreement with Samsung, which needs her to use only Samsung devices in public.
Sobchak apparently made several attempts to conceal the iPhone X with sheets of paper during the TV presentation, but Samsung’s keen eye was not to be fooled. According to The Mirror, Sobchak, who also became the youngest Russian presidential candidate in history in 2018 and who is considered to be Russian President Vladimir Putin’s god daughter, is now being sued by Samsung to the tune of $1.5 million or 108 million rubles.
Seems like Ms Sobchak could end up paying even more for that iPhone X than its hefty price tag or say dasvidaniya to it and replace it with a Note 9/S9.
