Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8: Launch timeline and price in India (Expected)
According to leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 could debut in the second week of July, possibly around July 8 or July 9. The device is expected to be available for purchase roughly two weeks after the official announcement.
In terms of pricing, the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is expected to cost around Rs 1,74,999 in India. The 512GB model could be priced at around Rs 1,86,999, while the top-end 1TB variant could cost Rs 2,16,999.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8: Specifications and features (Expected)
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 is rumoured to feature an 8-inch inner display and a 6.5-inch cover screen. Both displays are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Furthermore, the device could pack a 5,000mAh battery, which would be larger than the 4,400mAh battery found in the previous model. Faster 45W wired charging support is also expected.
For photography, the book-style foldable phone will likely house a triple camera setup on the back, consisting of a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the front, there could be a 10MP camera for selfies and video calls.
