Samsung is reportedly working on its next-generation flagship, the Galaxy S27 Ultra. While the company has yet to officially confirm details about the device, CAD renders of the upcoming model have recently surfaced online. If the leaks are to be trusted, the smartphone may feature some major changes to the rear design. The camera layout could be completely redesigned compared with the current-generation flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Moreover, a MagSafe-like ring can also reportedly be seen in the CAD renders. Tipster Sonny Dickson has recently shared a post on its official X account stating that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy S27 Ultra in two different sizes. Not only that but the post also contains CAD renders of the device, which suggest that Samsung could introduce a significant redesign to the rear camera setup. Based on the leaked CAD design, the phone appears to feature two large camera sensors positioned vertically, while the other two cameras are housed beside them in a pill-shaped module.

Moreover, a flash is also visible within the same module, placed between the camera elements. Aside from that, one can see a round ring placed in the centre of the back module which could be associated with MagSafe charging.

If the leaks are to be trusted, then the redesigned camera layout would mark a notable change in Samsung’s current approach and could give the Galaxy S27 Ultra a distinct visual identity. Meanwhile, fellow tipster Ice Universe also shared an AI-generated image that visualises how the rumoured camera design could look on the final device. Do note that Samsung has not yet commented on the leaked CAD designs.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra: Specs (Expected)
The Galaxy S27 Ultra is said to feature a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
The handset may also pack a 5,700mAh battery, which is rumoured to support fast and wireless charging. In terms of optics, the device is said to come with a quad-camera system on the back, but there have been some reports stating that the device will only house a triple-camera setup instead.

The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra is anticipated to make its debut in the Indian market by February 2027. Early reports suggest that the starting price of the device could be roughly Rs 1,49,990. Nonetheless, this is not the official pricing and may change at the time of launch.
