Samsung Galaxy S26 FE latest leak reveals camera design: Expected specs, price in India and more

Samsung has been very aggressive with their affordable flagship line, the FE lineup. It is an annual release, as we’ve got a new device in the lineup every year, and it looks like this year’s Galaxy S26 FE is right on schedule. Ahead of an expected launch later this year, the phone has surfaced in a real-world image, which shows its redesigned camera bump. The device was spotted in an early WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) listing and carries a model number SM-S741. The listing includes a hands-on image that gives us our first clear look at the phone. What’s new with the Galaxy S26 FE?
First off, coming to what’s actually new on the device, it has mostly got to do with the back design of the device. While the overall design language remains familiar, the company has slightly modified the version to differentiate it from the standard Galaxy S26. The biggest visible change from the S25 FE is the camera module.
Like the flagships, the S26 FE is getting a raised camera bump similar to what’s been seen on the Galaxy Z Fold series. The camera bump appears to sit a tiny bit too close to the side and top edges of the phone, and because of this, many are calling it to look a bit off compared to other devices. But since this is an early sighting, it could also be a pre-production unit thing.
Expected specs and price in India
Coming to the internals, while all details are yet to be revealed, a few things have leaked. A recent leak suggested the S26 FE will run on the Exynos 2500 paired with 8GB of RAM, and ship with Android 17 out of the box. The launch is expected sometime around August or September.
As for pricing in India, the Galaxy S25 FE launched at Rs 59,999 for the base 128GB variant, with the 256GB and 512GB models priced at Rs 65,999 and Rs 77,999, respectively. But because of the memory shortage and the move to the newer Exynos 2500 chip, it’s likely the newer S26 FE could be priced higher than its predecessor. More details are expected in the weeks leading up to the official launch.
