The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Series will most likely launch with the flagship Snapdragon 898 SoC. The new report from South Korea indicates that only some regions will get the Exynos 2200 SoC powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones. In an earlier report, we explained how chip shortage and production issues are forcing Samsung to limit the supply of Exynos powered Galaxy S22 smartphones.

The latest leak confirms that important markets like Europe will get the Exynos 2200 powered Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones. Surprisingly, North America is not on the list and will get the Snapdragon 898 version of the upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphones instead. However, an Exynos 2200 variant could make it to American shores but will likely remain exclusive to the Verison Wireless network. 

The upcoming Exynos 2200 SoC features AMD powered graphics that’ll take mobile gaming to the next solution. According to reports, the Exynos 2200 seems faster than the Apple A14 Bionic in terms of benchmarks. The Snapdragon 898 SoC with its 4nm process features an Andreno 730 GPU and a base clock of 1.78GHz.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy S22 roster will feature the base S22, the mid S22+ and the top-spec S22 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S22 series smartphones will feature a screen size of up to 6.81-inch. The top-spec Galaxy S22 Ultra will most likely feature a QHD+ screen and a 108MP quad-camera unit. The Galaxy S22 lineup will also feature up to a 5,000mAh battery and support for 65W fast charging.
