The Korean smartphone maker has finally introduced its new A-series smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A27, in the Indian market. The device comes with a familiar design along with better performance, display, and a bigger battery compared to its predecessors. Not only that, but the company also promises 6 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches for the device. The Samsung Galaxy A27 draws its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. It also houses up to 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage that goes up to 256GB. Furthermore, to keep the handset functional all day long, it comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery. It is also paired up with 25W fast charging support.
In terms of display, it features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display which is coupled with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. To keep the display protected against scratches, the makers have also installed Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection.

Out of the box the smartphone runs on One UI 8.5, which is a skin based on Android 16. The company also promises six years of security updates alongside six generations of Android and One UI upgrades. Not only that, but the device also comes with Samsung Knox security and Galaxy AI features.
In terms of optics, the handset comes equipped with a triple camera setup on the rear side of the smartphone. It includes a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. For the selfie lovers, the smartphone also houses a 12MP camera at the front.

Samsung Galaxy A27: Launch price
The Samsung Galaxy is priced at Rs 28,999 for the 6GB and 128GB variant, while the 8GB and 128GB storage variant costs Rs 31,999. Furthermore, the 8GB and 256GB variants cost Rs 37,499. The customers can also avail themselves of a Rs 3,000 instant discount. Not only that but Samsung is also offering UPI cashback along with no-cost EMI options.
The handset will go on sale from July 3 and will be available in light green, light pink, and black colour options. Interested buyers can shop the device via Samsung’s online and offline channels.
