Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Redmi 15 in India next week on August 19. The company has already started teasing the smartphone’s key details, including design, specifications, battery, camera and more, ahead of the official launch. The upcoming smartphone is teased to pack a 7,000mAh battery. The device is touted to be the slimmest smartphone with such a massive battery. Additionally, Redmi 15 will come in three colour shades – Midnight Black, Frosted White and Sandy Purple.

Redmi 15 specifications

Redmi 15 is confirmed to feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It also has TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian Friendly certifications. The handset comes equipped with a Snapdragon 6S Gen 3 chipset, with 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging. For optics, the device is confirmed to ship with a dual rear camera set up comprising a 50MP primary sensor with features like AI Erase, AI Sky, and classic film filters.

The Redmi 15 features an IP64 protection, side fingerprint sensor, Dolby-certified audio, and 200% super volume. It will run on HyperOS (Android 15) with 2 years of OS + 4 years of security updates out-of-the-box.

Redmi 15 price and availability in India

Redmi 15 is tipped to come with a price tag of around Rs 19,999 for the base variant. Though the brand is yet to confirm the price officially. The handset could pack up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage under the hood. In India, the Redmi 15 5G will be sold via Amazon.in, mi.com and offline stores after the launch.
