Realme is all set to introduce two new products in India. The company will finally launch the Realme X2, which was teased at the launch of Realme XT. Moreover, Realme is looking forward to foray into an all-new category of product - truly wireless earphones with the launch of Realme Buds Air. They are touted to be heavily inspired by Apple AirPods. The new device will come equipped with wireless charging support. Here’s all you need t know about the launch event.

Realme X2 has already been launched in China. The phone was launched back in September. It is finally making its way to India. The Indian variant is expected to remain the same as the Chinese variant. Realme X2 features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.9 percent. The smartphone comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and in-display fingerprint sensor.
Realme X2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC. It is expected to launch in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants. The smartphone comes with 64GB and 128GB of onboard UFS 2.1 storage options that both are expandable via a dedicated microSD card.
On the optics front, Realme X2 sports a quad rear camera setup: a 64MP primary Samsung GW1 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture + an 8MP sensor with a wide-angle (119-degree) f/2.25 lens + a 2MP depth sensor + a 2MP sensor for 4cm macro shots. The handset also features a 32MP selfie shooter. Both rear and front sensors also have EIS (electronic image stabilisation) support for videos.
Realme X2 packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology. The smartphone comes with Bluetooth v5.0. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone was launched in Pearl Blue and Pearl White colour options in China. It is expected to arrive in the same colour options in India as well.
The Realme X2 Price in India is expected to start at Rs 19,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, and Rs 20,999 for the 8GB RAM + 12GB storage option. If this happens, it will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 730G chipset to be priced below Rs 20,000 in India.
Realme has been teasing the Buds Air for quite some time now. The specifications of the device have also reportedly been leaked online. It is confirmed to arrive in Black, Yellow and White colour options. The company has also teased wireless charging support for the Realme Buds Air - that makes it the first Realme device to feature wireless charging.
Realme Buds Air is said to sport a 12mm Bass boost driver, Bluetooth v5.0 support, and an instant auto-connection feature that just requires the user to open the case. It may come with intelligent touch controls to manage music and calls, and support for Google Assistant. The earbuds are expected to feature USB Type-C port for wired charging and offer 17 hours of battery life.
According to the leaks, Realme Buds Air could be priced at Rs 4,999 in India.
