Realme is also introducing a unique design twist: an interchangeable rear camera panel that lets users swap styles for a more custom look. Realme has set the official India launch date for November 20. The livestream will begin at 12 noon IST, and the phone will go on sale by the end of November via Flipkart, Realme’s online store, and retail partners.

Powering the Realme GT 8 Pro is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest and most powerful mobile processor. It’s paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, and a 7,000 sq mm vapour chamber cooling system to maintain stable temperatures during intense usage.
The device will sport a 6.79-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and up to 7,000 nits of peak brightness, making it one of the brightest smartphone displays. Backed by a 7,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging, the GT 8 Pro aims to deliver all-day power with just minutes of charging.
Realme’s collaboration with Ricoh GR imaging hints at pro-grade optics. The triple camera setup may include a 50MP OIS main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The 32MP front shooter rounds it off for detailed selfies and video calls.
