Realme is all set to expand its mid-range segment. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has recently confirmed the launch date for Realme 16. The handset will join the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro Plus lineup, which were launched earlier this year. Although Realme has not yet revealed all the information regarding this new smartphone, early leaks and rumours have already given us a fair idea about what to expect from this new Realme 16. With a focus on delivering top-class performance, battery, and looks, this new smartphone is likely to grab the attention of buyers looking for a perfect smartphone at a reasonable price in India.

Realme 16 price (Expected)
Initial reports suggest that the device may get launched with close to Rs 40,000. However, this is not the confirmed price, and the official cost will be revealed at the time of launch.

Realme 16 specs (Expected)
Realme 16 will likely draw its power from the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo chipset under the hood. Furthermore, it’s also tipped to run on Realme UI 7.0, which is based on Android 16 out of the box. It may also come with 3 years of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates.
The handset is anticipated to come equipped with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Along with that, it may also house a 7,000mAh battery that will likely support 60W of fast charging.

The Realme 16 is expected to feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display of the device is said to reach a peak brightness of 4,200 nits. Moreover, it may include AGC Dragontrail or Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
In terms of optics the smartphone will likely launch with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It’s also said to boast a 50MP front-facing camera for perfect selfies and video calls.
