Oppo F3 with dual front cameras launched at Rs. 19,990
HIGHLIGHTS

The Oppo F3 features a similar dual front camera setup to the Oppo F3 Plus, but the rest of the specifications are different

After launching the Oppo F3 Plus, the company is bringing its dual camera setup to a more affordable smartphone called the Oppo F3. Priced at Rs. 19,990, this selfie centric smartphone will go against the likes of Gionee A1 and the newly launched Vivo V5s. The device will go on sale from May 13 and will be available via offline and online retailers.

While the Oppo F3 may have a dual camera setup like the Oppo F3 Plus, the rest of the internals are almost completely different. The phone is powered by a Mediatek MT6750T SoC, which is the same SoC being used in the Oppo F1s and the Vivo V5s as well. The SoC has been paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Users will also a get a dedicated microSD card slot along with dual SIM slots. It is equipped with a 3200mAh non-removable battery, which supports Oppo’s VOOC charging technology.

However, the highlight of the phone is the dual camera setup at the front. The phone is using the same 16MP front shooter along with a 8MP wide angle camera for group selfie. At the back, the 16MP rear camera used by the F3 Plus has been replaced with a 13MP unit. The design and build quality of the phone is similar to a majority of devices from Oppo. You get a 5.5-inch Full HD In-Cell display, which Oppo claims to offer better sunlight legibility. The company also claims that it is 25% thinner than its previous F1s smartphone.

The Oppo F3 has a fingerprint scanner at the front, which doubles as a home button and the device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Alongside the phone's launch, the company also announced its partnership with BCCI and showcased the new Indian cricket team jersey.
