Teaser shows a gold colour, but more variants might also be there
Oppo has been launching attractive phones this season and now it’s coming up with the latest phone of the F-series, Oppo F23 5G. Oppo then announced the India launch date of the smartphone as May 15, 2023.
Oppo has launched an official trailer of this phone from which the design and some key features were revealed. But, this new smartphone, which will be the successor of the Oppo F21S 5G, is expected to be just a rebranded version of Oppo A98 5G.

Design of the Oppo F23 5G
The Oppo smartphone will have a flat frame probably of plastic, if it isn't aluminium. It has a punch-hole cutout right at the centre for the front camera of the phone. At the back of the phone, the panel has dual rings with triple camera sensors and the flash. The rings have the Oppo specific glow design. According to the teaser the phone is Gold in colour but of course more colour variants are expected.
Specifications of the Oppo F23 5G
The Oppo F23 5G as the teaser suggests should have a 120Hz display, which is possibly an IPS LCD. The phone’s power is in the good hands of the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, but the exact SoC is unknown as of now but it is expected to have the Snapdragon 695 SoC.
The power button is to the right with a fingerprint sensor embedded in it and from the trailer it can be guessed that the volume controller should be to the left. Coming to the RAM and storage, the smartphone should come with 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage, accompanied by 8GB virtual RAM.
The Oppo phone will be packed with 5000mAh battery and 67W fast charger. As mentioned earlier, the back panel of the phone will have two circular rings with three camera lenses- 64 MP primary sensor, 2MP for depth and 2MP micro-lens.
