As per a report by German publication WinFuture, OnePlus and its parent company Oppo are planning strategic changes. The reports state OnePlus can gradually withdraw from the US and Europe, while Oppo is said to strengthen its own presence in those regions, particularly across Europe.

The latest claims come months after the speculation surrounding OnePlus’ future outside Asia. Previously, the company dismissed reports suggesting it was shutting down. However, subsequent rumours indicated that OnePlus was reviewing its long term strategy in several international markets.

The report also suggests that signs of this transition have started appearing. In Germany, the OnePlus online store currently lists only the OnePlus 15R, while devices such as the OnePlus 15 flagship and Nord series are no longer available. Similar product reductions have reportedly been noticed in countries including France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

The industry reports have also suggested that OnePlus can further align itself with Oppo by replacing its OxygenOS branding with the Oppo ColorOS for future global devices. Neither OnePlus nor Oppo has commented on the latest report yet.

Till the brand makes any official announcement, the information remains based on industry sources and should be treated as speculation. However, the reports also suggest that India and China are reportedly not expected to be affected if the restructuring goes ahead.
