The OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition features a carbon fibre pattern on the rear panel, which sits under Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Avengers logo is placed on the rear panel and the OnePlus logo and the Alert Slider are in gold.

There is also an Iron Man protective case bundled in the box, along with an Avenger medal. The company announced an Infinity Medal challenge saying that there are a total of six medals. But it’s not yet clear what one would get by collecting them all.

While there are obvious differences between the OnePlus 6 and the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition in terms of design, they are almost exactly the same when it comes to hardware. The OnePlus 6 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC and features a 6.28-inch Full Optic screen with a taller 19:9 display aspect ratio. It comes with an all-glass rear panel, but there’s no wireless charging support. The device runs on OxygenOS 5.1, which is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and supports Face Unlock as well.

In terms of optics, the OnePlus 6 features two vertically stacked cameras where one is a 20MP Sony IMX519 sensor and another is a 16MP Sony IMX376K sensor. The rear camera supports both Electronic image stabilization (EIS) and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The company says that the rear camera can take better portrait images as compared to its predecessors, thanks to the new portrait mode that also comes with added modes and effects. In a future update, the Bokeh mode will be enabled for the front-facing camera as well. The device's camera can also capture slow motion videos, but at HD resolution and at 480 fps for 60 seconds and not at the rumoured frame rate of 960fps. On the front is a 16MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture lens.

The OnePlus 6 comes with a new built-in video editor on, which will allow one to add background music, crop, and use various filters on a video. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery, which supports the company's proprietary Dash Charge technology and it comes with a gaming mode, which the company says not only blocks notifications, but also boosts an app's performance by prioritising data and resources, while limiting the background processes. OnePlus will also make the latest public beta of the Android P available for the device in a few days and it will be downloadable from the company's website.

The OnePlus Bullets wireless in-ear headphones have also been announced at the event. The earbuds on the headphones are magnetic and snap together in place and when they are put together, the device is turned off to save power. When users separate the earbuds, they automatically resume audio playback and the same gesture can be used to receive a call. It is priced at Rs 3,999 and is also compatible with the OnePlus 5 and the 5T.

The headphones feature 9.2mm drivers and are also Apt-X enabled. They are equipped with an “energy tube”, which is said to absorb any interfering soundwaves to deliver cleaner sound and support fast charging as well. OnePlus claims that it can deliver up to 5 hours of audio playback when charged for just 10 minutes.
