Nothing Phone 3 to ditch the Glyph interface? Teaser sparks speculation about new rear design

Nothing Phone 3 is among the most anticipated flagship devices at the moment. The company has already started dropping teasers of the device, hinting towards massive changes over the Phone 2. As per the reports, the device is said to witness a complete design overhaul and get a slew of AI features and hardware improvements.

While the major details remain unconfirmed at the moment, the Nothing has just made a bold move. In a short video shared on X (formerly Twitter), Nothing has teased the possible removal of its signature Glyph Interface, the LED lights on the back panel. For the unversed, the Glyph Interface has been a signature design for its Phone series.

In the short video, one can see the lights of Nothing Phone 1 flickering off, with the caption- “We killed the Glyph Interface.” While the company has not confirmed the exact details about the design shift, the rumour mill suggests that the company could be moving from the glowing LED system.

Now, the rumour mill suggests that the device could get a dot matrix display on the back. The teaser videos have also featured retro-style graphics and pixel animations, maybe a possible design shift. Well, we have to wait till July to know what exactly is coming with the Phone 3.
