Nokia XR20 rugged phone goes on pre-order from October 20 in India

Nokia XR20 rugged phone is all set to launch in India. The tough phone from HMD Global, Nokia XR20 will be up for pre-bookings starting October 20 in India. Nokia recently launched the C01 and C20 Plus in India priced starting at Rs 5,999 and Rs 8,999 respectively.

The Nokia XR20 is a rugged phone that has been IP68 certified and also carries the MIL-STD-810H certification. While the price of the Nokia XR20 remains under wraps, the specifications of the phone are known. Here’s all you need to know about the Nokia XR20.

Nokia XR20 specifications

The Nokia XR20 has a rugged build that offers all-round protection and longevity. It measures 10.6mm thick and weighs 248 grams. It is IP68 rated which means that it's dust and water-resistant for upto 1.5 metres for one hour. It is also drop-resistant on a concrete floor from up to 1.8 metres and is also MIL-STD-810H compliant.

There is a 6.67-inch Full HD+ (2400×1080 pixels) resolution display that has a punch-hole notch cutout for the selfie camera. The screen is further topped with a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus. 

Nokia XR20 features and availability

Nokia XR20 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor that has an octa-core processor with Adreno 619 GPU. The phone runs on stock Android 11 and is paired with upto 6GB RAM and 128GB storage with an option to add a micro SD card for storage expansion.

The XR20 has a 48MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture along with a 13MP ultra-wide camera with 123-degree FOV. Both cameras are optimized by Zeiss optics and can record in 1080p at 30FPS. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.

Nokia has also equipped the XR20 with stereo speakers along with WiFi 6 support and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The Nokia XR20 is equipped with a 4,630mAh battery that supports 18W fast wired charging and 15W fast wireless charging.
