The Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 7 Plus can now be pre-ordered today and will be available for purchase from April 30. The Nokia 7 Plus can be pre-booked from Amazon and Nokia Mobile Shop, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco is up for pre-orders via Flipkart and Nokia Mobile Shop.

HMD Global recently announced its 2018 portfolio of smartphones in India of which the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 7 Plus are now available for pre-orders starting today. The company has priced the Nokia 8 Sirocco at Rs 49,999 and can be pre-ordered from Flipkart, and will go on sale from April 30. The Nokia 7 Plus (review) is priced at Rs 25,999 and is available for pre-order via Amazon and will be available for purchase starting April 30. Both the smartphones can also be pre-booked from the Nokia Mobile Shop and from select retail outlets like Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C, Croma and Reliance. The Nokia 8 Sirocco comes in a Black variant, whereas the Nokia 7 Plus will be available in White Copper and Black Copper colour models. Both the smartphones run on stock Android and are a part of the Android One program. They also retain the 3.5mm audio jack.

Launch offers on Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 7 Plus

On both the Nokia 8 Sirocco and the Nokia 7 Plus, ICICI credit and debit card customers can avail a 10 percent cashback for a limited period and Airtel users will also get a free subscription to the Airtel TV app till December 31, 2018. There is also a 25 percent instant discount on domestic hotels bookings via MakeMyTrip on both the smartphones. 

Airtel subscribers will also get additional 20GB data on their first 6 recharges with the Nokia 8 Sirocco, when they recharge with Rs 199 or Rs 349 prepaid plans and postpaid users can also avail extra 20GB data per month for 6 months if they are on the Rs 399 or Rs 499 plan. Buyers will also get an extra Rs 3,000 off over regular exchange along with 25 percent instant discount on domestic hotel bookings at MakeMyTrip. 

There is also a Rs 2,000 cashback for Airtel users who purchase the Nokia 7 Plus and they can get the smartphone at an effective price of Rs 23,999. Nokia 7 buyers will also be eligible for a complimentary 12-month accidental damage Insurance by Servify on opening and activating a Kotak 811 savings account. The smartphone will be available at zero cost EMI on credit cards and through Bajaj FinServ and Home Credit.

Nokia 8 Sirocco specifications

The Nokia 8 Sirocco is made using a stainless steel frame and sports a dual-glass design, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 which covers 95 percent of the phone. It features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560) pOLED display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is powered by a 3260mAh battery, which can be wirelessly charged. 

The smartphone features a dual-rear camera with a 12MP wide-angle and a 13MP telephoto lens respectively and is equipped with a dual-tone LED flash and Zeiss optics. On the front, it comes with a 5MP fixed-focus sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and a 1.4-micron pixel sensor.

Nokia 7 Plus specifications

The Nokia 7 Plus features a 6-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with a taller 18:9 aspect ratio and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also comes with Android 8.0 Oreo and the company recently started rolling out the 8.1 Oreo for the device. It is powered by a 3,800mAh battery, which supports wireless charging as well. 

On the rear, it features a 12MP wide-angle with a f/1.75 aperture and a 13MP telephoto lens with f/2.6 aperture dual-rear cameras. On the front is a 16MP sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and both the rear and front cameras are made using Zeiss lens.
