Nokia 5250 picture, specification, manual leaked – a prettier successor of the Nokia 5230

Surely Nokia 5230 Nuron didn’t have any pimple or acne, and specification-wise it was a good buy for an entry level touch-phone. But the market report says, it wasn’t good enough to impress the customers.

So, after hearing customer feedback, Nokia has renovated the device. It was an underground operation ongoing, until the picture of Nokia 5250 got leaked in the Ovi promotions. Now we know, we are soon going to see the successor of the Nuron model, which will most probably be dubbed as Nokia 5250. We say ‘most probably’ as Nokia has left the old four digit naming convention and no new device is supposed to release with old naming convention, otherwise, the site lists the device as Nokia 5250, as you can see from the picture.

Later we found the user manual and some rough outline of the specification as well. The device isn’t much of an upgrade over the 5230 Nuron model, but it is sleeker in looks. The display looks a bit small compared to the form-factor though, and it will sport the same resolution as its predecessor.

An end-of-the-summer announcement is expected for Nokia 5250 and the price tag is predicted to be around 150 USD. Being a budget-class touch-screen phone and having a Symbian S50v5 platform with loads of features in its baggage, the device may prove to be a good buy in this coming fall or in the Q1 2011.
