Nokia 2.3 has been announced.

The Nokia 2.3 comes equipped with a 6.2-inch display, dual rear cameras, 4000mAh battery and more.

Nokia 2.3 is priced at109 Euros (US$ 121 /approx. Rs 8,625).

At an event in Cairo on December 5, Nokia hosted an event where it unveiled the Nokia 2.3. It is the latest budget offering by the company. Nokia 2.3 is being touted as a camera and entertainment-focused budget smartphone. While the device ships with Android 9 out of the box, the company is claiming it to be Android 10 ready. Nokia 2.3 features a 3D nano-textured cover with a ribbed pattern at the rear. It has a dedicated Google Assistant button as well. 

Nokia 2.3 specifications

Nokia 2.3 comes equipped with a 6.2-inch display that features a 720 x 1520 pixel resolution. It has 19:9 display aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 SoC. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of a microSD card.

On the optics front, Nokia 2.3 sports a dual rear camera setup: a 13MP lens with an  f/2.2 aperture + a 2MP depth sensor for the Portrait Mode and multiple bokeh effects. It also comes with a 5MP selfie shooter. HMD Global is also boasting of a Recommended Shot feature that takes 15 images before and after shutter press and then selects the best shot. The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie, and as mentioned earlier, the company says it is upgradable to Android 10.

The Nokia 2.3 comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. In the connectivity department, it has Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS and micro USB. It weighs 183 grams.

Nokia 2.3 price and availability

Nokia 2.3 will be made available in three colour options: Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal. It is priced at 109 Euros (US$ 121 /approx. Rs 8,625). The smartphone will roll out mid-December globally. However, Nokia 2.3 availability in India is yet to be detailed.
