Motorola launched three flagship phones today in China including the Moto S30 Pro, Moto X30 Pro, and the company's latest foldable – the Moto Razr 2022. The Razr 2022 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, a substantial upgrade over the older Razrs that featured Snapdragon 7-series chipsets. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset is also found in other smartphones such as the ROG Phone 6, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and the iQOO 9T.

The new Razr also comes packing a foldable 144 Hz P-OLED display, a secondary screen, a 50 MP primary sensor, and 33 W fast charging support. Let's dive deeper and look at the price and specifications of the Moto Razr 2022.

Moto Razr 2022 Price and Availability

Motorola has launched the Razr 2022 in three different storage configurations. The base 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model is priced at CNY 5,999 (roughly ₹71,000). The 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant costs CNY 6,499 (roughly ₹76,600). Finally, the beefiest 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage model is priced at CNY 7,299 (roughly ₹86,000).

The Moto Razr 2022 comes in two colourways – black and white. It will be available for purchase in China August 15 onwards. The smartphone is also expected to launch in global markets soon but there's no word about an India launch yet.

Motorola Razr 2022 Specifications

As mentioned before, the Motorola Razr 2022 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This is paired alongside up to 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device comes with Android 12 out of the box with MyUI 4.0 on top. It features a large 6.7-inch foldable P-OLED display with a punch hole cut out for the selfie camera. The display has Full HD+ resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colours, HDR10+ support, and DC dimming.

Moto Razr 2022 has launched in China

The rear panel houses a smaller 2.7-inch P-OLED display. This display is reportedly larger than previous versions and can be used to perform tasks such as texting, calling, clicking photos, and more pretty easily.

The phone houses a horizontal dual rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary lens with OIS and a 13 MP ultrawide shooter. You also get a 32 MP front camera for selfies. The phone is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery that supports 33 W fast charging.

Connectivity features include dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port.
