Formally known as the K910, the Lenovo Vibe Z Android smartphone is now official. The smartphone has a metal build and a design very similar to the Vibe X, which was shown off at IFA 2013. There is no information available regarding the price or the availability of the smartphone.

The Lenovo Vibe Z has a 5.5-inch display with a 1920x1080 pixel resolution. A 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset coupled with the Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM powers the device. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean straight out of the box and Lenovo says that the device will be updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.

The Snapdragon 800 SoC has received quite a bit of attention because of the power and performance it brings to the table. We have seen the LG G2 launch in India that runs on the Snapdragon 800 SoC. The smartphone has a good build and we were quite impressed with it when we got our hands on it at the launch event. We have also seen the Xperia Z1 run on the same SoC that shows off impressive performance.
