The Xperia XA2 Ultra could come with a dual front-facing camera setup and all the three smartphones could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC.
Renders of the Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra and L2 have been leaked online by the tipster Evan Blass. It reveals that the smartphones will sport a design similar to their predecessor, with thick bezels on top and bottom of the display. The Sony Xperia L2, Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra are expected to be successors to the last year’s Xperia L1 and the Xperia XA1 smartphones. It is speculated that Sony might launch the devices during CES 2018, but Blass notes that the company could delay the launch till February for Mobile World Congress.
According to the report, the Xperia XA2 Ultra and the XA2 are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC. The former could sport a 6-inch Full HD display with 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM, whereas the XA2 is rumoured to feature a 5.2-inch FHD display with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
In terms of camera, the Xperia XA2 Ultra could come with a 21MP rear camera setup with support for 4K recording along with a dual 15MP front-facing camera setup. Its smaller variant, the XA2 is rumoured to sport the same rear camera setup but might come with a 7MP front-facing camera instead. Both the smartphones are slated to run on Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
The Sony Xperia L2 might reportedly retain a 5.2-inch 720p touchscreen but could launch running on the older Android Nougat OS. It’s speculated that the smartphone could be powered by the Snapdragon 630 paired with 4GB of RAM. It could come with a rear-placed fingerprint sensor.
The Xperia XA2 was recently leaked in live images which also revealed that the smartphones might come with dual front cameras. It was seen sporting an LED flash with the front-facing camera and a centrally placed rear camera setup.
