A leaked image of the rumored HTC “Hero” smartphone, which is expected to be called HTC Aero or One A9, shows its extreme resemblance to the iPhone 6. Leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer, it shows the rumored “hero” device placed next to an iPhone 6. The smartphone also looks similar to iPhone 6 similar to the way it was shown in renders leaked few days ago.

You can see that the HTC smartphone has round edges and lines at top and bottom similar to the iPhone 6. HTC CEO Cher Wang had earlier announced that they will be launching a “hero” device in October. So if the device leaked in the image is the same, then you can expect it to launch in October.
Talking about specs, the rumor mill points towards a 5.5-inch screen with 2.5D curved glass, 4GB RAM, and MediaTek Helio X20 chipset. It is expected to come in two color variants: Tyrant Gold and Dark Grey.
The rumored device will be very important for HTC after poor response to their HTC One M9. The smartphone was criticized heavily for its poor camera performance as compared to LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S6, and iPhone 6. So it will be an interesting thing to see if HTC will be able to turn things around this time.
