Google is once again back with its ‘Best Phones Forever’ ad, taking a fun jab at Apple’s upcoming iPhone and iOS 26. The new video shows the usual Pixel-iPhone duo chatting, as iPhone shares about the latest iOS 26 features introduced at the Apple WWDC event. The features are expected to start rolling out with the upcoming iPhone 17 series, slated to debut in September, following the usual timeline.
SurveyIn the video, the iPhone can be seen saying that it’s excited about the latest iOS 26 features, such as Live Translation for messages, Hold Assist, and Call Screening. Responding to iPhone, Pixel says that Google has already rolled out these features years ago.
While it seems to be a fun video, Google has also teased the upcoming Pixel 10 series right at the end, when the iPhone casually asks what Pixel is working on for the Pixel 10. However, the tech giant hasn’t revealed any key details as the ad ends.
Google is laying the marketing groundwork for the upcoming Pixel 10 series to create hype around the flagships. Recently, images of handsets, reportedly the Pixel 10 Pro or 10 Pro XL, have surfaced on the internet from an ad shoot at a beach in Canada. The images can be seen carrying the marketing tagline “Ask more of your phone.”
Pixel 10 launch timeline
Based on reports, the tech giant is expected to unveil the Pixel 10 series smartphone around August 20. The lineup is likely to comprise a standard Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and a Pixel 10 Pro XL. While they are still months away from hitting the shelves, the rumours have already been creating a lot of buzz. The phones are expected to feature some significant upgrades over their predecessors. The standard Pixel 10 is expected to ship with a new telephoto camera, whereas all three models are expected to receive long-awaited wireless charging, improved speakers, and much more.
