The Apple iPhone Fold is anticipated to launch with a dual ProMotion display setup. The external screen is rumoured to measure 5.5 inches, while leaks suggest the inner display could be around 7.8 inches when unfolded. The device may be approximately 9–9.5 mm thick when closed, reducing to around 4.5–4.8 mm when unfolded.
Under the hood, the Fold is expected to pack 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and run on Apple’s new C2 modem. Additionally, the device is said to house a 5,400 mAh battery. In terms of optics, the device is expected to launch with a dual 48MP lens at the rear end and 18MP selfie cameras on both screens. Rumours also indicate that Apple might bring back Touch ID with the iPhone Fold, rather than relying on Face ID alone.
