Apple iPhone 18 Pro leaks
The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro models are anticipated to have a familiar look but major internal and functional upgrades. The lineup is reportedly still going to have a rear camera “plateau” with three sensors and a 6.3-inch display. The device’s front may change with the addition of a front camera in the upper-left corner of the screen and under-display Face ID technology.
Apple is reportedly testing a variable aperture system for at least one rear camera, which would offer greater adaptability in different lighting conditions. Performance enhancements are also planned; the iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to be powered by the A20 Pro chip, which is purportedly based on TSMC’s state-of-the-art 2nm manufacturing process.
Another important area of focus is connectivity. Apple will probably use its own C1X or C2 modem for 5G and LTE, along with a new Apple-made connectivity chip that works with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread. The devices may also enable web browsing via satellite, expanding Apple’s satellite-based services beyond emergency use.
Apple iPhone 18 Pro launch timeline
The Apple iPhone 18 Pro along with the iPhone 18 Pro Max and the long rumoured iPhone Fold will debut in September next year, the reports suggest. However, Apple has not confirmed the lineup at the moment.
