According to current leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro may have a starting price of around Rs 1,39,900 in India. For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro launched at Rs 1,34,900. Another estimate puts the price of the 256GB iPhone 18 Pro at Rs 1,44,900.
On the other hand, the iPhone 18 Pro Max may reportedly start at around Rs 1,54,900. Depending on the model and storage configuration, this may translate into an increase of Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000 compared with the previous generation.
Why may the iPhone 18 Pro series get a price hike?
The reported price increase comes at a time when memory components are becoming more expensive. The growing investment in AI infrastructure has increased demand for memory, putting pressure on supply and component prices.
Apple has already raised the prices of products such as the iPad Air and MacBook Air in India. However, it remains unclear whether the company will make a similar adjustment to the iPhone 18 Pro series.
iPhone 18 Pro may bring several upgrades
The iPhone 18 Pro series may get a slew of hardware upgrades including the Apple’s A20 Pro chipset with 2nm fabrication. The phones may also get 12GB of RAM, brighter LTPO+ displays and a smaller Dynamic Island. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is tipped to pack a larger battery, while camera improvements may include a variable-aperture 48-megapixel primary sensor and a stacked sensor.
Apple is also reportedly working on its C2 modem and expanded satellite connectivity for the new generation.
