Apple is slated to bring the iPhone 17 series to the global market in September. This year, Apple may introduce the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. While the launch is still months away, the rumour mill has suggested that all the devices will offer enhanced display, camera, design, and features.

iPhone 17 Pro Max release date (Tipped)
If Apple sticks to its usual release schedule, the iPhone 17 series could be announced on September 8, with a release date set for Friday, September 19. Apple’s flagship iPhone announcements and rollouts have historically followed a very consistent timeline. While the exact announcement date may vary slightly, usually falling on a Monday or Tuesday, Apple consistently opens pre-orders on the following Friday and begins shipping a week later.
If we look at the previous iPhone launches- the iPhone 16 was announced on September 9 (Monday) and was on public sale on September 20. The iPhone 15, introduced in 2023, was announced on September 12 (Tuesday) and released on September 22.
Based on this, the iPhone 17 event can be organised early in the week of September 8, possibly Monday the 8th or Tuesday the 9th. The pre-orders may begin on Friday, September 12 and will be available on public sale on Friday, September 19.

It is worth noting that this is not a confirmed launch timeline and is completely based on cadence.

Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.9-inch OLED panel and 120Hz ProMotion display. It could feature the company’s yet to be announced A19 Pro chipset and could be coupled with increased 12GB RAM. The company may also introduce the vapour cooling chamber. The battery backup is also said to be increased.
The device may also offer an upgraded 48MP triple camera with a better telephoto sensor for portraits. It may also get an upgraded 24MP front camera.

As per the reports, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could be priced at 1,64,999 in India, with a Rs 20,000 increase. To recall, the iPhone 16 Pro Max base variant was priced at Rs 1,44,900.
