While Google’s Android 3.1 Honeycomb announcement at Google I/O said that the upgrade will be available to all manufacturers by the American summer, it seems both Asus and Acer will be updating their Honeycomb devices a little ahead of time.

So, if you had qualms about buying the A500 because of its undisclosed update cycle, you can now make up your mind.
