Microsoft could beat Apple

There are a couple of things that we need to consider. Firstly, the upcoming Microsoft laptops are being compared with Apple’s M3 chipset. The M3 is a lower-end chipset, while the M3 Pro and M3 Max are the more premium variants. Secondly, it is expected that the laptops with the Snapdragon X Elite will require fans and may run hotter. Apple, on the other hand, went fanless back in 2020. Lastly, the macOS also provides optimised performance overall. So, it is going to be a tough fight.

Microsoft is expected to announce the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6, with Snapdragon X Elite chipset on May 20th.
