Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x could headline Lenovo’s CES 2026 lineup
At the top of the stack is reportedly the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, which is expected to be the flagship of Lenovo’s ARM-powered push. The laptop may feature a 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, combining sharp visuals with smoother motion. Lenovo is said to be keeping the design extremely slim, with a thickness of just 13.9mm and a weight of around 1.17kg, putting it firmly in ultra-portable territory.
Powering the Yoga Slim 7x could be the 18-core X2E88100 variant of the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor from Qualcomm, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X dual-channel RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. A 70Wh battery is also expected, reinforcing Lenovo’s promise of long-lasting performance without the need to constantly hunt for a charger. Pricing is reportedly set to begin at $949.99 (roughly Rs 85,400) with availability tipped for Q2 2026.
IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 and Slim 5x models: What to expect
Lenovo’s CES 2026 plans might not stop at a single flagship. The IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 is expected to bring a more versatile form factor to the Snapdragon X2 lineup. This 14-inch convertible may feature a WUXGA OLED display with full DCI-P3 colour coverage, making it suitable for both productivity and media consumption. Under the hood, it is said to run on the Snapdragon X2 Plus platform, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. Interestingly, Lenovo may also include an expandable second SSD slot, something rarely seen on thin 2-in-1 laptops.
The IdeaPad 5x 2-in-1 is expected to pack a 60Wh battery and offer a generous selection of ports, including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI 2.1, and a microSD card slot. At around 1.42kg, it appears to balance portability with flexibility. Prices are tipped to start at $799 (roughly Rs 72,000), and reports also hint at an AMD-powered sibling arriving alongside it.
Rounding off the lineup could be the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5x models, expected in both 13-inch and 15-inch sizes. The smaller variant may stick to a WUXGA LCD panel, while the larger model could feature a sharper 2.5K OLED display. Both are said to run on the Snapdragon X2 Plus chipset, with variants going up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. Pricing for the 15-inch model could begin at $899 (roughly Rs 81,000), with Q2 2026 availability, while details around the 13-inch version remain under wraps. If these reports are accurate, Lenovo’s CES 2026 showcase could mark one of its most comprehensive ARM laptop lineups yet.
