According to Downdetector, reports of the outage in India started around 3:23 PM and quickly increased as more users faced problems. Many people said they were unable to use the platform properly. At the same time, users in the United States also began reporting issues. They said they could not refresh their feeds on both the website and the app, which made it difficult to see new posts.

At its peak, there were 1,351 outage reports in the United States while there were just 530 in India. Usually, when a platform stops working, people turn towards X to vent out their frustration or check what others have to say. However, this was not the case, as the platform itself was not working, leaving many users feeling stuck without their usual way of staying updated.

This is not the first time X has faced such a problem. Earlier in the morning, there was another outage. During that time, reports in the United States reached about 11,800, which was much higher than the later outage.

Although the service now seems to be slowly recovering, the company has not yet shared an official statement. Since this is the second outage in one day, some people think the platform might be testing new features, especially after launching the X chat app. Others believe the issue could be related to server problems.
