But now the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, or Galaxy S25 Ultra users in India can download the One UI 8 beta update.

The firmware version for this beta release is S93xBXXU4ZYF3 and includes the June 2025 security patch. The update weighs approximately 3.6GB, indicating that it will include several changes and additions to the operating system.

One UI 8, which is based on Android 16, is said to include a number of visual and performance improvements. It is also expected to include new features. However, Samsung has not yet revealed the detailed changelog. According to reports, Samsung may introduce new AI-based features, optimise app behaviour, and improve system performance.

Keep in mind that this is a beta release, so there may be bugs and issues that will take some time to resolve. We recommend that those installing beta versions backup their data and expect a few instability issues.

It is worth noting that Samsung has not provided an official timeline for the stable release. According to the leaks, the stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update will first be available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 before gradually rolling out to older devices, beginning with the Galaxy S25 series.
