Soon after the Galaxy S25 series launch, Samsung users are excited and waiting for the series of new AI features and new design tweaks with the new update. However, the Android 15-based One UI 7 update may not be available for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S23 series user’s anytime soon. This comes after a report by Sammy Fans claimed a possible delay after having a word with the support executive in the US.

During the conversation, the support executive stated that he was unclear about the One UI 7 release for the Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy S23 series, the report added.

One UI 7 release date (Expected)

As per Sammy Fans report, the support executive stated that he does not know any specific release date or timeline. He also stated that they cannot speculate on the date, hinting at a delay.

Previously, the reports stated that the Galaxy S24 series will receive One UI 7 on February 7. The Galaxy S23 series was slated to receive an update in the following weeks. However, it appears that the rollout of the Android 15-based One UI 7 update for the older S series devices may be delayed till March, with the exact release date unknown.

It’s worth noting that the business hasn’t officially announced the One UI 7 release date or timeline for older devices. Until now, the Galaxy S25 series has received the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. Currently, the One UI 7 is currently under beta and Samsung seems to be taking more time to fix minor problems or bugs that can raise compatibility issues.

Now Brief, Now Bar, improved Circle to Search, call transcript, writing and drawing help, and an AI-powered audio eraser are all included in the latest One UI 7 update. Through on-device data processing, the company is also providing a personal data engine for safe and customized experiences.

One UI 7 supported device:

The rollout will begin with the Galaxy S24 series and will be followed by the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy S22 series. The Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and above variants will also get the One UI 7 update. Slew of A and F series phones will also get the update.
