Users are unable to use the chat because it returns the error message ‘This is not working, try again later’. The majority of reports complained about the chat not working, and some reported issues with both the website and the chat.
This could be because, for some users, Claude is throwing errors such as ‘Claude will return soon’ while the chatbot is experiencing temporary service disruption. The company’s status page also acknowledged the poor performance. However, despite the errors, the company has assured users that the issues will be resolved and that they can return later. However, no official timeline has been provided thus far.
