iOS 16 is available to download for public and developers.
Apple customers with iPhone 8 or later can install the iOS 16 Public Beta and Developer Preview.
You could get to try key iOS 16 features like Passkeys login, customizable lock screen, the ability to unsend and edit messages, Apple Pay Later, Live Text on videos, show WiFi passwords, Touch ID or Face ID for locking hidden/deleted files/folders, and haptic feedback on keyboard.
On the heels of announcing the new software for iPhones, Apple made the iOS 16 developer preview available to download on iPhones version 8 and later. Now weeks later, the first iOS 16 Public Beta is also out. So, this means ahead of the stable rollout this fall, you can install iOS 16 on eligible iPhones and try out the new features.
