The offer is aimed at students returning to college and gives them access to several AI-powered tools for studying, research and creative work. Google has also introduced a new student hub inside the Gemini app to bring study tools and related features together in one place. College students can claim the offer by visiting Google One Plans and signing in with their Google account. Under the Google AI Plus section, tap “Get student offer” and then select “Continue.”
You will then have to enter the required details and complete the student verification process. Once verified, you will get access to the Google AI Plus plan for free for one year. However, remember to cancel the auto-payment option before the free period ends. If you do not cancel it, Rs 399 will be charged to your account after one year.
The plan includes 400GB of storage across Google Drive, Google Photos and Gmail. You will also get 2x higher usage limits in Gemini compared with users without a Google AI plan. Also, you will get more access to Google’s AI creative studio for making cinematic scenes and stories, and more access to Nano Banana features in Search. You will be able to use Gemini directly inside Gmail. In Gemini Notebook, you will get more access to research tools, including Audio and Video Overviews and quizzes.

New student hub in Gemini
Google has also introduced a dedicated student hub to the Gemini app. It is designed to make it easier for students to find and use Gemini’s study features. Students can use the hub to create study notebooks, make flashcards and take practice quizzes. Google says more learning tools will be added to the hub over time.
