SurveyHere’s everything to know about the FASTag annual pass.
FASTag annual pass price and validity
The FASTag Annual Pass offers up to 200 toll crossings at any national highway or expressway without paying tolls each time, for a fixed cost of Rs 3,000 per year. The plan is valid for up to 1 year from the activation date or for 200 trips, whichever comes first.
Once either limit is reached, the pass will automatically revert to a regular FASTag. Users will be required to renew the pass for another year or for the 200-trip limit.
FASTag annual pass eligibility
The scheme is available only for private, non-commercial vehicles such as cars, jeeps, and vans, with the details available in the VAHAN database. Commercial vehicles, like truck drivers or bus drivers, are not eligible to avail this pass.
Additionally, the Annual Pass is entirely optional, and those not willing to opt for it can continue using their existing FASTag system for regular toll payments at standard rates.
FASTag Annual Pass fee plazas
The Annual Pass can be used at National Highway (NH) and National Expressway (NE) toll plazas. State highways, roads managed by local authorities, or parking facilities will not accept the FASTag pass, and users will be required to pay regular user fees as applied.
